OH Bother!
I was planning on going away this weekend to a koi event in Newmarket, but I will stay for this meeting seeing as I have missed the last two!
Just an update on the shop.
Apologies for the lack of space at the last meet - the garden centre owner wanted to use the space as it is quite good retail space wasted while we have 'stuff' stacked in there.
I/We have been very busy over the last two months, with me being in Japan for two weeks, and receiving a troublesome import of koi. On top of other jobs, trade shows and the start of the koi season, we just haven't had enough hands of late.
All the plaster boarding is done, just the gaps to fill and walls/ceiling to paint. Hopefully this will be done for the weekend. Then the task of leveling up all the frames begins, which I am not looking forward too - the walls were a task!
We have our coral tables arriving this Tuesday. 3 tables of 6x3x1 ft, to be lit by LED lights (not sure which brand yet). Not sure how to set up the sumps yet, thinking miracle mud/cheato.
I will be speaking with the TMC rep this week to sort out some bits and pieces, I've met with Bob from Seachem today about becoming a proper dealer, and hoping to see Dale from Red Sea about stocking their reef care products too.
Looking at freezers for frozen food, we can't decided what deal to do, so any ideas of what frozen food you are using, and what you are paying would be most appreciated.
We are looking into some kind of loyalty scheme, where you 'bulk buy', collecting stamps with each purchase, and then when you have enough stamps, you get some free goods
(not sure which products as yet, but probably salt, frozen food, RO etc).
We do have 0TDS water available, up to 1000l per day available! And salt water available, made with Tropic Marin.
