mine is LPS and its the hammer corals lovely corals and are fantastic colour under antinics

I really like corals that move, goniopora, euphyllia etc. I think, in general, the colours of most soft corals don't appeal, though Yumas are something I really like.
In Japan this year, we went to several aquariums, the one under the Tokyo Tower had a torch and hammer that must have been at least 2ft each! They were stunning.
I do like monitpora, but think they are the kind of corals that look best on large reefs, when they are over a few metres in size, like what I've seen when diving in the Red Sea.

I agree, SPS rightly called sticks!! ;-)
If I'm totally honest, I see the challenge in growing them and keeping them brightly coloured in a home reef.
Certainly in a display tank at our shop, I would love to have an excellent SPS display, as seasoned reef keepers would be more impressed, but for all the strangers through the door, moving LPS would be far more of a draw, and inspiration for setting up a reef tank.
