Heya Guys, I'm new to the forum and the hobby. I was introduced to this page by Surfer Joe. I've kept tropical fish for good couple of years but really my heart has always been in marines. So after reading and reading I decided now is the time to make a change! So i've opted for a modest 3ft aquarium which has been set up since November.. I'm already itching to upgrade my old 5ft topical tank into marine but decided to take it slow. My aquarium is a little boring so to speak at the moment, i just lost my cleaning shrimp so only have a few crabs and snails living on my 30kg live rock. The aim is at the end of January to introduce two clowns, build up on the CUC and get some corals growing.. thanks to the kind help from Joe. Nice to meet you all, Katie

Hi Katie Welcome take it slow with your new setup there is no secrets to success, you just need to keep your system stable keep your water parameters balanced and stable and you will succeed. We have all made mistakes and with this hobby it can be a expensive mistake to make, loss of that nice new coral, fish or invert as well as the wasted money. Any questions just ask there are lots of knowledgeable people on this forum willing to help.
